Ruff Stuff cycling gone wild ‘Rough Stuff’ is bicycle touring off-road and this blog follows my adventures around Britain and Ireland in search of beautiful places to ride through and spend time in.
It starts at the beginning with the initial preparations for such an undertaking: the bicycle, equipment and training, and develops with the journeys, taking in the sights and sounds of the lands I pass through, with a particular interest in people and places that embody a richness of spirit, soul or atmosphere. It is a journey into the enchanted heart of Britain and Ireland.
Whether you wish to cycle tour (on road or off), hillwalk, wild camp or find out about beautiful and interesting places to visit then I hope you will find something in this blog to enrich your travels.
